i was looking for a way to get my trusted PCI soundinterface in my new PCIe PC.
and then you find this the STPCI2PCI.

the name does not do it justice. it's a life saver, a take your youth with you into the future. without this riser converter i wouldn't have been able to use my "old"soundcard.

Let me get this straight. in music production or even video post, alot of gear still uses the trusted PCI sockets. these cards are not cheap, they can be very expensive
No one really wants to put them aside, so in order to upgrade a system with only PCIe sockets the DUAL PCI RISER does its trick.

Very handy and easy to install.
Open the box (backplate side) and pull out the riser.
install your PCI crad(s)
Insert the cards back into the box
close the box and THEN use the tiny screws to fasten your PCI cards to the box
Hook up the powersupply when your card uses high power. (it will work without)
set the jumpers on the PCIe board to internal or external
Install the card (PC shut down)
hook up the box with the USB3.0 cable.

the card/box do not need any drivers. the inserted PCI card do.
i've got my M-audio delta1010 PCI multichannel 10in/10out soundinterface connect and it works great.
exactly why i bought it.

awesome product
4 stars because there was no manual included.
that would make it a 5 star all the way
